The Running Horse is lovely, dont go to the queens head harvester its pants. Within lockmeadow there are several restaurants, Frankie and Bennies, Old Orleans, some chinese......they are all nice and very convenient in location to the show.
A place called the Tudor Rose in Bobbing (about 10 min drive out of maidstone) does a reallly nice carvery and are highly recommended.....near to there is also a Brewers Fayre but that can get busy with families on a sunday. HTH |

Depends if you are driving or walking, as to where you can go.
Is food required?
