I've ordered a ceramic heater 250w off ebay and it came today. I've made a guard for it out of stainless steel. Here is a pic.
![]() I made it a bit too long but the ceramic heater fits inside easily. The bulb from each side has about 1.5cm clearence of the sides. Is this enough? Also the ceramic bulb and fitting i got cannot be used with a reflector. So i though to stop the scolding of the roof of the vivarium can i put a square metal plate on the roof? Lastly what can i use to connect the corner togethrer of the guard. Will cableties do it ok? thanks tom
