"The killer snake can be seen strangling the man as he tries to make his way to the shops." Yeah, it's a 6' Boa. Get real. Apparently one of the strangest things they've ever seen though.

Waiting for them to agree to my comment..
"For starters, it's not a Python of any kind. It's a Common Boa Constrictor. Secondly, I'd like to congratulate MossyLazy on having one of the most narrow-minded opinionated comments, ever. Congratulations. There's a large community dedicated to keeping, breeding and looking after Reptiles, which includes Rescuing. Granted, while some people buy large snakes to "Show off" as you worded it, this is not the case. One or two, perhaps - But I know of a few thousand keepers in the UK ALONE who would disagree with your comment and could prove that the animals are kept safely in a suitable environment. I suggest that you read some posts and threads on Reptile Forums UK - Care, Pictures, Classifieds & More so next time when you post, you might not appear as ignorant."

my comment got submitted -
"This is in reply to some earlier comments (mossylazy). Firstly i would like to point out that this snake is not a python it is a common boa. Secondly there are thousands of people out there in the uk alone that have kept snakes and other exotics for years and its the same as keeping a dog cat or hamster as all these animals were bread in captivity they know nothing of living in the wild. Thirdly these animals live double their lifespan in captivity than they would in the wild. Although some people do buy them to "show off" as it were it is the same as buying a big dog and taking that for a walk it doesn't mean they aren't loved and have a wonderful life in someone's home. I suggest you all take a look on reptile forums UK and see all the snake lovers on there. I too own a lovely very much loved collection and am often seen taking my iguana for a walk."
