Default Help!!

Hi all, My pet tortoise recently died of parasites and i was looking for a new pet. Only, i dont know what to get.
Ive had corn snakes, horsfield tortoise, red foot tortoise and a bearded dragon. my dragon-KOMODO- is still with me. i have plenty of room to use up and i would like a reptile that is not too expensive. preverbly a snake of a lizard.
Anyone any suggestions???
All help is appreciated, Joe

How about a royal python, milksnake (they seem unpopular but they're great pets), kingsnake, garter or ribbon snake, water snake, corn snake, small ratsnake, children's python, maybe a common boa or rosy boa.
I know how to keep all of these and they all make easy, simple to keep pets.

£40 is a good price from a shop.. £25 is rather cheap imo. May depend on area.

If you dont want to spend a lot on the animal itself be aware of equipment costs too.. a water dragon is quite an expensive animal to set up as they will require a large viv, UV, basking spot and a suitable thermostat. Some people also add misters or waterfalls which all adds up.

If you go for a snake such as a rat, king, corn or royal equipment costs can be reduced by using a tub, mat and mat stat with basic decor. This can be upgraded once you have saved up the money but will not compromise on your pets health/welfare in the meantime.
