Wheres a decent place to buy a 24 x 12 aquarium / glass tank without paying ricidulous amounts of money.

preferably with a secure lid

Either somewhere like Pets at Home as they sell ClearSeal tanks, or check out the ones listed on eBay

PAH are overly expensive with their aquariums

no fish shops near you? should be able to pick one up (without lid mind you) for £20 possibly £15

you could get a quote from Boss Aquariums Welcome To BossAquariums just to see and compare with PAH if they're your only option
