Smile Doncaster

Just a few questions about Doncaster show. How long does it take to drive from Edinburgh to Doncaster. Does anyone know? Also, if a train would be the only way to get there in reasonable time, can you take reptiles on trains? Is there anything i need to take to make sure for long journeys, that the reps don't get cold? These are just hypothetical questions, IF it was feasible to go. Thank you

Would take you ages to travel down by car as already stated, going by train looks like about 3h30mins approx but most trains dont start running very early on a sunday so by the time you get there it will be nearly over. Your other option is to travel down the day before and stay in a hotel overnight but all this costs more money so depends on how badly you want to go.

As for taking reps on trains, technically you are ment to inform them of any animals travelling but im sure most people have put them in a tub inside a back pack and transported them without any problems. For heating I would recommend getting some air activated hand warmers to provide a bit of heat, dont put them in with the rep just on the side or the roof of the box, the rep must be able to get away from it. If you are coming down by car then a poly box in the boot is handy.
