Life On Earth - Attenborough
I was deeply bored on Monday so I wandered into the local HMV to see if there was anything to relieve it. I found the Life On Earth boxset for £15 and although I knew it was 30 years old, thought I'd give it a punt.
SO GLAD I DID! What an absolutley brilliant series, there are virtually whole episodes devoted to amphibians and reps which have taught me things I never knew as well as showing species rarley encountered. It's well up there with the more modern stuff (although a few points of info might have changed since due to further research, and the background music can grate a little but hey, it is 30 years old now!) and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Two thumbs up to the master Mr A!
