Is the shop within walking distance of the centre of York? If not, is there parking near, as from the photos on the website it look like the road in front of the shop has double yellows.

Info much appreciated as I'm planning a visit on Tuesday!

not sure if walking distance but there is 2 customer parking spaces there and is a very good shop well worth visiting

It's about a 25 min walk from city center or a short bus ride.

Yes there is parking outside the shop.

Its my mate's birthday so we decided to have a trip to York, booked a hotel and of course have to check out the shop while we're there. Shame she's terrified of snakes really.

Hi there is parking outside the shop. The number 1 bus drops you just round the corner. We are open 10 - 6 and the kettle normaly always on.

We walked from the train station, got totally lost because we had the wrong postcode and it STILL didn't take us more than an hour to get there

I'd like to make the walk again next spring when the weather warms up again... this time without making a long detour!
