tbh I don't have much hope for you if your unable to google london zoo, go on their site, and click the big brown tab saying "conservation".

But here you go...

Endangered Animals Conservation

they class laziness under special needs now? Wow I should get on disability benefits, I'll show them the state of my room as proof!

London zoo is good and improving every year. Due to the listed nature of some of the buildings there its been hard for them to modenise many parts of the zoo but the new stuff there putting up and the moving of the elephants and rhinos to wipsnade has bought about huge improvments.

What is your view on the Regent's Park zoo?

Any reviews would be very much appreciated, I'm looking for more critical opinions..

I'm trying to gather information for an assignment and would like to know what 'you' think, not what a journalist thinks or ZSL's own reviews.

Thank you very much for anything you can give me!
(1) To be honest, it's not really that great. Most of the enclosures are still small, but some are OK. There are no amazing animals there that wow you, just what I'd call the typical zoo you'd find in a childrens book. The Aquarium is not great, well actually quite gnaff, and the reptile house has for some reason gone downhill. I awarded them quote of the month a while ago with:

"May I ask you about the elapids on display?"
"I'm sorry sir, I work with snakes, not tortoises."

(2) Its better than nothing, but other zoos that I've been to are far better.

(3) Erm, look at the quote of the month above. the signs are also rather basic.

(4) The old ones aren't being expanded, but the new ones are larger.

(5) Not as good as they make out. Marwell and Chester I thouroughly reccomed, and although its not a zoo, but the Blue Planet Aquarium in Warrington is the best animal display centre? I've ever been to.

London Zoo = 4/10

meh I went, made a thread with tons of pics in this sub-forum not long ago.

It's ok but what was annoying was quite a lot of enclosures were empty, saying out for renovation. I'd understand it if they looked like something was going on, but it didn't and the ratio seemed quite high...

Also I thought some of the enclosures were rather small, especially the giraffe one. I swear the meerkats had more room.
