Default ReptilesPlus2 in Poole, Dorset is ACE!

Yesterday I visited to ReptilesPlus2 and met Alex (the manager) and Nik.

I was immediately impressed as I walked into a bright, open and incredibly tidy shop!!! There's the drygoods and counter area in the front room, with plenty of intriguing bits and bobs around the counter (European treefrogs, darts, mantids and phasmids).

Then there's the main livestock room through the back, again, smart and well presented, great vivs all kitted out tidily for each species needs. So much to see aswell!!! My highlight animals were the Gallotia stehleni, Phelsumas and gorgeous little Rankins dragons (I probably forgot something amazing...).

Loads of choice with a good few interesting/unusual species for the ordinary hobbyist to marvel at. The vivs were well laid out and exceptionally clean, the whole place was a world away from the stinky reptile shop caves some of us have to put up with!!!

Jay has already posted the two Hognoses I picked up from RepsPlus2

Perfect little snakes indeed

Hooray!

Well, 2 of the Candoia are actually Lotte's - but she very kindly gave another one to me for looking after hers whilst the whole DEFRA debacle was going on, poor lass!. We do have some Candoia coming in next week for the shop though. You'll have to pop along Ian

Cheers
Al

I agree, Reptiles Plus is a great place with knowledgeable staff who really seems to care about their animals.
