Smile begginers question

I have a male Red-ear that's about 3-4 in. long. I was browsing through my fantasy turtles online the other day, and came accross a Pastel Slider Baby that was IN MY PRICE RANGE!!!!!! But in the description, it said that Pastels were less aggresive than Red-ears. Since the new arrival would stay in my baby boy's tank, I was wondering if they would get along? Or should I just be a one-turtle girl?
