Default Zoos / Animal Parks / Conservation Projects in Europe

Can anyone recommend any zoos, animal parks or conversation projects (any wildlife, not just reptiles, but reptiles too!) in Europe? France, Germany, Holland, and maybe Switzerland / Norway mostly

Appreciated if anyone knows of any

It was a long time ago, but I seem to remember Amsterdam zoo being pretty good - I think it was them who had a museum bit with loads of "when nature goes wrong"-type things on display as well (not sure if that's to your taste, but I found it really interesting!)

The Nantes Museum of Natural History had a pretty cool venomous exhibit when I went out there (xmas '0 - from what I remember the cages were all built-in so I suspect it's a permanent thing rather than just being a seasonal display. I wouldn't make a special trip to see it, but if you're ever in the area it's well worth a look (some of the setups were nicer than most zoo setups!)

Edit: it's still mentioned on their website, so I guess it's still there: http://www.museum.nantes.fr/pages/03...teserpents.htm
