Don't know why your vet won't see it, they are protected after all, vets have an obligation to wildlife I think...

Phone around local vets, see if you can find one to help - they may know of a closer wildlife sanctury too.

There will be general wildlife rescues - vets round here have all the numbers of local ones... try asking them?

Depends what state it's in. Hopefully they should help. Worth an ask.

The rspca will put it down, if ou cannot find a vet that will have a look put it in a cardboard box with an old towel, give it some fresh water and a bit of cat food, failing that boil a little rice and add some dead crickets and bits of veg

can you see any damage or is it still moving around

dunno whats wrong with it i have followed all advice of the lady at the sanctuary, but as my vets are being a little unco-operative, id rather it was in her care as its "what she does" if you know what i mean?
it looks to have ticks but other than that im not sure, it was laid on its side (how a dog would) and curled up as soon as it was picked up.

cant see any damage as its been curled up ever since, i have some dried mealworms if they are any good?
no livefoods though, have given it some catfood, fresh water, gotta make some warm water with salt and sugar to rehydrate it (the lady at the sanctuary advised it)
been looking at this site Epping Forest Hedgehog Rescue - Home Page and after reading would rather not have it be put down if it can be saved as it seems they are becoming extinct? :'(
