Default New Snake Disocvered!!!

WOW...

An apparently whole new species of snake that CAN CHANGE COLOUR!!

Wonder what its 'common name' will be, I put forward Chameleon Viper.. Obvious but seems to fit well..

Is it?? Enhydris gyii? Looks to me like a whole new species in an already named genus.... latin name has genus, species, subspecies and they're not showing a ssp? Or am I getting confused?? Pretty impressive anyway whatever it is!

Very cool, and Scotty it is a whole species becsuse it has a full species name, Enhydris gyii, but it isn't a new genus - brings the possibility that other snakes in that genus may also be capable of changing colour...
