Default Scales and Tails

I saw the thread in the shop classified section for Scales and Tails and had a nose at their web site and saw they had a banana blizzard for sale. I decided to stop off there on Sat when I went on a long journey northwards to pick up even more reps.

I was really impressed by the shop and the staff. All the animals were very well looked after and there was a very good selection at very decent prices. It knocks spots off the shops down my way.

Dave the owner was also a really good bloke and really knows his stuff. He genuinely cares about all his animals and we heard him giving really good advice to people before we got to speak to him.

If you get a chance pop in and see for yourselves

yeah, i couldn't complain about the set ups or tidyness(and prices were really good), just a few bits of advice i heard that didn't ring true(snake sizes etc), plus they didn't know too much about corn genetics(the bloke argued that an anery a was a charcoal, i just let him get on with it)then there was loads of errors of the marking up of spiders(wrong latins and common names, plus some common names that showed lack of knowledge of certain spiders eg)

The size was an issue when 8 of us went up and the final thing was being told a kinked corn would be 100% fine for breeding

It was little things, we were all fine as weve kept(or in some cases work in reptile shops),but for newbies there were a few potential issues

Like i say, nothing really bad, but at the same time, nothing exceptional It kind of left me feeling dissapointed with little error after little error on advice( i think i built it up more in my head than it turned out to be, if you know what i mean),i would go back, if there was something i wanted, but it wouldn't be another local for me
