new state amphibian.
well boys and girls, as of today ohio, the state where i live here in the U.S. has an official state amphibian now. it's the spotted salamander. it was a tough battle but the spotted salamander won out over the american bull frog. being native to all 88 counties in my state, it made the cut. i haven't caught one in years but i may this spring just for giggles when i'm camping....here it is!!!...(drum roll please.......ok, just imagine a drum roll).........tah-dah!!!!!
