Default Info on Hamm??

Hey folks,
Can anybody give a rough idea on driving to Hamm, just something im pondering, if i was to go id be taking the ferry from Dublin to Liverpool, but where to go from there and how long of a drive then approx, I always take a couple of days of work around April/March so i couldnt think of a better way to spend it although i bet the girlfriend could but i think i could convince her otherwise lol. Not looking for exact direction or anything just a general time/distace.
Thanks in advance.
Vinnie.

depends how you want to do it? the easiest way is getting the train to calais from dover or similar and driving to hamm from there usually takes 4.5 - 6 hours depending on traffic. stay at the mercure hotel too, its nice enough and thats where all the traders stay, its a 2 minute drive to the show. alternatively you can drive to manchester and get the coach.

1)i get the tunnel on the friday morning(usually around 50quid return)from folkestone to calais.crossing is 35mins.
2)its all motorway straight-line (get a sat nav incase!!) there through belgium, antwerpen and then into germany..takes about 5hours ish, depending on stops.
3)stay at animal-friendly hotel friday night and spy on any breeders also staying there and keeping their polyboxes in hotel rooms
4)sat morning go to show..woop woop!!!
5)sat afternoon after show drive straight back and get last tunnel crossing at 11.45pm (if earlier they always bump u forwards to the next available time).

Voila.

The way we do it is

Drive to Harwich (just east of London)
Harwich -> Hook of Holland (Stena Line Ferry usually around £300 for 1 car + 4 passangers) overnight in a cabin with nice beds and plenty of booze!
Hook of Holland -> Hamm = 3 hour drive.

Although the ferry is expensive that does include 2 nights in a cabin so don't have to worry about hotels etc. and it's only 3 hours drive from hook of holland.

24 hour heat packs We also have a travel kettle so can take hot water bottles but the heat packs are better. They sell them at the show for a euro or so or you can get them at most reptile shops in the UK i think or online stores

no,... you never have to pay attention to anyone unless they are sensible and respectful. any kid that thinks he's all that is mistaken and should be put in his place.

Might be better off getting a ferry to Europe and drive from there. Unless you are wanting to get the coach in the UK in which case Liverpool would be best
