Default Exciting news at work.

Just been chatting to my boss and he has offered me a project starting next year supervising a translocation project in a certain area involving all of our native herps except Natterjacks.

Will be a great opportunity as it will be an ongoing project where I get to choose and buy the receptor area, create or enhance the habitat to suit the individual species and once it has grown in trapping, releasing and then monitoring the populations annually (all under the correct licenses of course).

Going to be a long time (5yrs+) to get to the trapping stage for many of the species but will be great watching the project progress.

Very chuffed

How fantastic - you are very lucky to have the chance to do such rewarding work.

I do hope we will get pics and updates regularly how it is all going and that
