I leave my bigger snakes to their own devices. Massive water bowls and a few days without me wont do them any harm.
All the smaller ones and my rats travel with me as an entourage much to my mothers distain. Ive been told I 'had better get those stinking animals out of the dining room before xmas eve'

Going manchester christmas day, and back on boxing day, so just leave them to it, and no1 will be looking after them while were gone. Just bought loads of crickets so will fill Irwin up before leaving, and feeding snakes 24th anyway.

Didn't go away for Christmas, but when we go for our New Year break, our kids and Ichi the skunk will go to stay with my Aunt in Bury.
This is her first time ever meeting a skunk but I am confident that she will do amazingly - sent her a diet sheet well in advance and have a collapsable cage and such for Ichi in case Auntie goes out
