Default who's looking after yr reps?

Well again Christmas is here and I bet like us many of you are having to go and stay with family.
Thing is who looks after the reps? Are there many neighbours who'll handle locusts etc...
Its taken some doing but one neighbour is checking the snakes and water etc..dad-in-law sorting the chams as neighbour won't go near the locusts my leo is going to another rep owner who'll be able to make sure her moist hide is moist and food ok etc... and a poorly snake is coming with me
So there we have it. Job done.

I don't go away myself but my boarding spaces at work are fully booked over the christmas period so I'm guessing a lot are kept at boarding facilities in shops. All are beardies..99% of our boarders are beardies!

I've used my local petshop a couple of times, but I much prefer to have my parents handle things. My mum is great - if I'm away for a bit (e.g. when I was doing volunteer work in Namibia) then she will email me a weekly report of who's doing what, how much they all weigh, how much and what they all eat on a daily basis etc! Really puts your mind at ease. Plus she loves getting the big ones out because they'll sit on her desk by the window for the day while she works.

I don't usually go away at Christmas. My brother in law has kept a few snakes and they don't need feeding so he'd be ok. Problem is I can't think of anybody that would come and fly my bird of prey. He needs 2-3 hours flying every day.

Not going away this year but thankfully I have a couple of mates that have reps themselves. Planning on calling a favour or two early next year when I want a dirty long weekend in Dam with the missus.

Snakes are fine when left for a week or so, but i think lizards normally go to pet shops.
