Default Hamm for Northerners...

Hiya,

Just trying to sort something out for anyone up north (Scotland, Borders, Newcastle and the likes) who is interested in going to Hamm. Personally I'd want to be on the bus organised by Tarantulabarn and Purejurrasic. Wouldn’t want to miss a chance to put some faces to the usernames.

Anyways. I think I can make the Manchester pickup using a couple busses (provided by Megabus.com if anyone wants to look) but was wondering if anyone has any better options.
I’d rather not travel by train (I dislike train) but if the difference in time makes up for the additional cost…

Pushing my luck but is anyone driving down?

the bus trip was actually good fun. and everyone was really nice, even though i was plastered on the outbound journey, and was probably snoring.

Public transport is ok i suppose but point to point would be a lot more conveniant with animals on board

We have got coach companies begging us for our business. we can charter buses/coaches/minibuses for anywhere in the country, but we need certain info

The best and cheapest way to cover the far north woul be 1 maybe 2 pickup points say glasgow and edinburgh, we also have to think of driving hours

so if eneough people from borders/ scotland want to go and can pool together to reach the pick up points we can arrange it for you all

All we need to know is how many people can do with an extra bit of help from the borders area, just to see if its viable

we have already looked at this and no it cant, unless they start pick ups on thursday because of the driving hours regulations.

What we need to do is compile a list of people that drive to the pick up points with spare seats that they are wlling to sell to keep their costs down a bit and help someone else get there
