You know when the chin of a lizard goes in and out like it does all the time, what is this doing?

But does it all the time? Im talking about gecko's, dont know if all lizards do it but they constantly do it and im just intrigued to know what it is

thats normal, isnt it how they breath? they look like frogs when they do it
