Default They don't half talk though there hat.

RSPCA || Pet care

They are also expensive to look after correctly.

I can make a set-up for a corn snake for £30,I wonder
what they consider expensive.

A variety of illnesses, injuries and infections can be caused by keeping reptiles in unsuitable conditions.

What like all animals.

Tbh, they should have put "like all animals A variety of illnesses, injuries and infections can be caused by keeping reptiles in unsuitable conditions"
But i agree saying they can be expensive, would it imrpove the situation of badly looked after snakes by saying "They are cheap as chips to buy and set up"? No.

I've looked at the caresheets for corns and royals and they could be better but they do cover the basics. They don't mention thermostats, as far as I can see, which is poor and inappropriate for an organization promoting animal welfare.

Assuming you mean retail, I think thats a bit optimistic!

There are a few things I think are wrong
For a corn snake - "Two people may be needed to hold an adult snake - one per metre of length"
and "Hatching (sic) snakes will take one or two pinkie mice every two or three days"

and finally a really surprising comment "Mice should be freshly killed". I'm really surprised that the RSPCA of all things is encouraging people to kill mice in a domestic environment. Someone has slipped up there!

Yes they can be expensive to set-up,they say they are.I guess I'm
getting at it being generalization.

There's a new type of discrimination, reptile discrimination.

Yeah i made a thread about it, 'snake prejudice' ive been thinking about it alot after i read a chapter in a book i got for. I want the R.S.P.C.A to be ohnest, they over exaggerate some things under exagerate others and then blatantly lie!!!

A £1 tub, a 50p water bowl and no hides ... you make sure you don't spoil them now
