Default Herping Holiday

Can anyone suggest some were to go for a holiday, we will be wanting to see lots of snakes, and lizards! We did look at Madagaskar and it is to expensive at £3000 per person for a good tour holiday. We want something for 2-3 people. If you can suggest countries and places (desert, city, village names) that would be great.
Thank You

Dan
