Default Booster jabs

After looking at another thread this has got me wondering

Do snakes need 'booster jabs' and if so what for?

Boosters are usually attenuated viruses. To help the body build up a natural resistance to certain viruses/bugs.

Never heard of it before. Seems pointless to even consider in a long established pet evironment where you are not intending to add to.

The snakes in question had mites as well as a bad gum infection its a boost because they were dehydrated and had refused meals

the booster as im aware is what our vet called it
Under the impression from our vet that the snakes needed antibiotics for a gum infection then the smaller ones needed something to help keep their strenght up while trying to fight mite as they were only hatchlings. i said all the snakes needed to be checked out and treated i didnt say they all needed to be treated with boosters indivdually
