Default 100% Het Albino Royal.

Hi all new to the forum and looking for some help.
I have a normal female Royal and am interested in breeding her.
If i was to breed her with a 100% het albino male would the babies be albino? Any help would be most appreciated.

i may not be 100 percent sure but the hatchlings would just be het maybe 66 percent . i think you need to breed it with another het albino or full albino to get albino young. I may be wrong though , come on some of you genetic buffs help out here.

None of the babies from a normal to het albino mating would be albino. The expectation is that half of the babies from this mating would be normal and half would be het albino. However, as all of the babies look normal, we call them all 50% probability het albino.

By the way, 100% probability het albino is just a long way of saying het albino.

as above

not worth doing

if you used a proper visual albino to breed to the normal then you at least get 100% hets
but they would still look normal so maybe best to go co-dom/dom route? and get visual lovlies in first generation

you could always have a look in my sig for albinos, i have some for sale lol

if your not really into the genetics i would just stick with normals or like was mentionion get a co-dom/dom snake like a spider, pinstripe, pastel, mojave etc that way you get visual babies in the first mating.
