Hi
Does anyone know how i can help my Red eyes snout rub?.I bought these little fellas a couple of days ago and was happy to take them home like that but now i`m not sure if its a good idea.I`ve been told bonjela is good but i`m dubious about putting this on them.Does anyone have any red eyes out there and if so have you had the same problem?

If you can find some Silver Sulfadiazine that is safe for frogs.

Hi and thanks for the advice.I have how-ever decided to take these back to the shop as i dont think they`re healthy.They was wild caught i believe and i woke up to find one of the smaller ones dead.Another one of the smaller ones never seems to go that bright green that they`re well known for either.I`ve only had them a couple of days you see and i dont think that they settling well into captivity as i`ve seen no signs of them feeding either which is worrying me.Another thing that is worrying me is that the guy i bought them from (Cold Blooded in Rainham in Essex) is also worried about his and has asked me to keep him updated so i`m guessing this batch is`nt a good one.Shame really,they are truly an amazing frog although dart frogs i find amazing aswell.I`m after a few yellow bands and a few blues aswell.

Umm could you ask the shop if any other amphibians are unwell ??

His other amphipians are ok and the darts i now have from him are healthy and very active.As for the red eyes,the one that died was`nt adult size.The day before he rolled he kept bloating his chin out and at times kept opening his mouth.Also his snout rub seemed to be getting worse which worried me aswell.Unfortunatly this has made me dubious about getting anymore.I know that amphipians are fragile but i`m not keen about getting wild caught anymore,although i`ve been told they have a much brighter colour
