all you get is males...
My point is this..most rodent supply companies sell off the males mostly and try to keep back the female for breeding. At least this is the way it is in the States.
It has been proven in other species that elevated levels of testosterone can cause reproductive problems. So why not the same in snakes.
For the past few years I have been buying and feeding off younger rodents, rodents that they don't sex so I get a more even sex ratio..plus growth hormones are still being produced by these feeders since they are young.
It seems MY results have been breeders that 2x clutch and continue to grow like they havn't even been bred that season!!
Most of my hogs that started breeding at 300g are now 500-600gram sand going with huge perfect clutches..
Any thoughts..does anyone else here think about these things..
