Hi all,

Bought 2 Applegate snakes and are doing fine (need to take pics and post them - keep forgetting it )

The male is shedding and having some problems.
Looks like the head did shed fine but the rest of his body isn't.
I did use a damp cloth yesterday evening but it didn't help much.
Do I keep trying with a damp cloth or better to use a wet or very wet one? Or something else we can do?

Only into snakes for a few months and not much experience with these things.

Did put him in a round plastic box with some water and shed came of after about 1.5 hours

hi glad that worked.

I put mine in a container of luke warm water for about half an hour then skin just seems to peel off!!
Plus they like a nice bath

Yes, we actually used the tub we picked them up in from you Neil!

Worked a treat, I actually read the technique up in the book from Applegate as well, just goes to show he knows a thing or two <grin>

they are two nice and shiny snakes now!
