ok some of you (steve) will have seen a thread on another site refrence colour differences with in the niloticus complex ( not including ornatus here) as there seems to be some intresting variations in there colours (not including the few morphs there is out there) so im intrested in building a bit of a studie of the different colours that we all keep and any info you have on there back ground (most i know are CF but if you know where yours was imported from) this has come about from my two being very different colours.

Hi Shane unfortunately i have no information as to the locality of my male niloticus but here's a few pic's of his patterning , iv seen quite a few varying patterns and shades of niloticus over the years

nice one steve he has wat I would call the standerd nile marking black/dark olive with yellow marking am i ok to copy these and use them?? wont be published on line with out asking m8

You can use any of my photo's in any of my 5 albums or indeed any you find on threads on RFUK
Yep i would agree he has the "standard" nile monitor markings or at least the most common iv seen in most pet/rep shops

He is awesome, gotta get me a Nile but will have to wait until either the shed or loft is done. Whenever I plan to do either I am having to build another viv somewhere else.
