nice summer day so i took the nile in the garden 4 a walk... it saw a crow and was scared?? (honestly dont know why, it could eat a crow...) nile shunted itself a hole just under the fence and ran straight through to nextdoors garden i was stuck on one side of the fence, nile on the other trying to pull it back. I had no idea what it was holding on to but it had a firm grip... we played tug-of-war for about half hour then my partner came home and was able to go nextdoor and rescue the nile. Just as he got round to the other side of the fence the nile got out of its harness and into a bush, luckily it was far easier getting the nile out of the bush... that took only 5mins lol... was one hell of an afternoon!
after that episode i replaced all the fences in the garden with ones that go 3ft into the ground and are much stronger and thicker than the old ones lol! i had no idea that our fence was so rubbish before then... should've checked really, my bad!

Yep indeed i think they were on holiday at the time... Indeed a stroke of luck! Especially as my neighbours are an elderly couple i think if they seen 'a dinosaur' in their garden they would both of had a heart attack!
