Ive got no pics at the mo but it depends on how enthusiastic you are. I use Calcium Carbonate (limestone flour) as a substrate, which when sprayed with water looks very desert like and realistic. its also very easy to hoover off the surface any faeces. As for decor, i make my own rocks from polystyrene, sculpted and covered in tile grouting, sanded smooth and then sprayed with resin lacquer. This makes a very natural looking backdrop / cave etc but takes a week or two to make. If you're not into making your own then you can buy caves eaasy enough from the pet stores. As for vegetation I find that fake stuff is the best and you can get some very realistic fake plants from the high street florests.

Just make sure there's at least three different places to hide along the temperature gradient in the viv; a hot place moist place with moss/vermiculite to shed in, a medium place and a cooler place. I have hollow logs and made caves from bits of slate. Mix things up a little every now and again by rearranging everything.
