my leo is 6 months old and i found him dead today, for the past 2 weeks he has gone off his food and gradually appeared to be getting weak.
i took him 2 the vets 2 days ago and he said it was likely because he had a cut in his mouth so he provided antibiotics
when i found him he was upside down, there was some diarrhea, and had a dark patch on his tummy
do you have any ideas what might have caused him 2 die or why he may have meen upside down.

What type of substrate do you have in your tank? Could be impaction. which would explain his dark patch. If you have more leo's in there, you may want to completely clean out the tank in case it's from a bacterial infection. Could he have been upside down because he fell off of something?

could have been crypto their liver swells in the later stages which could explain the dark patch and.crypto causes diarrhea dont knkw why he would be upside down though. Sorry he died
