I'm seriously considering buyin my 1st tegu (hopefully this yr) & ws wonderin wot u guys think of the 2 diff types? talkin from experience ofcours..

My 1st choice would b the Argentine Red Tegu, jus cos i like the color & size... but gimme ur oppinions, they all count

I also wondered if argentines can b bred with columbians?? (nt sure wot gain ud get frm this but still..) & can u get Red tegu's in the columbian variety???

From what I've always been told, argentine tegus are usually better natured.

I would say the best is the Argentine Black & whites are the best. They are easier to look after, easier to tame, have fantastic personalities and in my opinion look nicer.
