if you want a community maybe convert back to your fish tank

with enough time and dedication its not impossible to have a community viv.

That's only true within reason. Some species are entirely incompatible.

It's very difficult to find reptiles which occupy different niches, yet need the same care requirements.

look people in my opinion this guys heeded all warnings and taken all advice and judging by his last post on this thread its quite clear hes opted for multiples of the same species rather than a free for all zoo in a box ,what bugs me is wen people scan the thread and miss that fact and the following pages are people still roasting him just to sound important with their "experience" and 2 pence worth, get a grip and scrutinise another setup pic/idea in the hope of finding some 1 without a lightbulb gaurd to hang

Trial and error is great when you're painting a room. Not something i feel is appropriate when dealing with live animals. What would you class as an error? A dead reptile?

As for watching them like a hawk. Are you going to sit in front of your viv for 24hrs a day just in case something goes wrong?

I go to work all day for sometines up to 12hrs plus and also like to sleep for 7 or 8 hours a night. That only gives me 5 or 6 hours out of 24 and i'll be damned if i'm going to spend that time staring at a viv without blinking!

Community vivs are uncommon and strongly advised against for a reason and comments like "Trial and error" and "Just watch it like a hawk" are fantasy.

look man im just saying that the second this guy admits his faults and changes his plans due to good advice and warnings is the second people should stop ribbing him ,the latter third of this thread was still giving him earache over things he himself realized wasnt a great idea, wot would have been nice is people congratulating him on his new decisions, maybe a merry christmas,as this is one of few who take criticism very well and dont call everbody losers for having a dig.
