Not much i'm afraid guys been busy in work but have a bit done below
Think i am going to remove to poly from the back and just try to create a few random ledges finished the same as the rest and maybe cover the melamine internals in sand

FEEL LIKE ITS JUST TOO MUCH WORK TO START GROUTING THE WHOLE INSIDE WHEN I JUST WANT IT HOME AND PHIL INTO HER NEW HOME









Not sure why but the colour change slightly with the exterior pva?

Still think it looks ok
First coat i put on was builders sand straight from the bag which was quite damp
Because of this the glue soaked up through the sand and it hardened into a rough sort of surface, were if i had used dry sand it would have been nice and flat

At first the next day i was really pissed of when i saw how things had dried out, and the glue soaking up into the sand had made the sand still look wet

I then spread a lot of sand out over night and let it dry and tried a second coat which was a lot different as i got the colour i was after

First of all thinking it was a bit of a balls, i realised the first coat being wet had made the foam look more like a natural rough rock finish, as i had been happy with the sample i had done but thought it was maybe a bit on the flat side and not like natural uneven rock

So the moral of the story is first coat wet sand second coat dry sand
