i like the idea.. its no different than having a viv next to the wall with people walking past, putting cups on it and the cat / dog / kids knocking the glass. I've got a coffee table and i can't remember jumping on it, kicking it or wrestling with it. There's got to be something wrong with some people if they seem to think they have to beat up a table enough that it'd disrupt something in it.

All i'd do different is double the glass up on the 3 sides 'just' incase it gets a knock.

I have seen something like this before and it worked really well, Not sure about snakes in there though as there not the most interesting display as a centerpiece (as they tend to do very little), Rather then why not try Beardies or some other friendly more social animals who seem to enjoy the interaction

is there something wrong with you!?

you dont need to 'beat' a table up to disrupt and animal

snakes DONT/CARNT show emotion therefore cannot let you know how their feeling, if you disrupt a dog while its sleeping it will jump up and probaly growl at you, so how can a snake tell you they are scared etc?.

sorry right but your insensitivity towards this guys snake has just really fked me off!
