Thumbs up New Boa RUBs

So I picked up two new Boas during the week. Charley, and Darwin. When I got them they were in this:

Now they seemed pretty happy - but I wasn't. So yesterday I went and did a spot of shopping. 50L RUBs are on sale in Argos everyone - £9.43. So I got a couple of them. Found some dog water bowls, which with a little tinkering will make a nice hide. Aquatic plants (much like the exo-terra plants) are on 3 for 2 @PAH. Oh and the daft checkout girl only charged me for small vines instead of the mediums which I bought.

So now they can play in this:

And here is Darwin going into his new home:

I think they will enjoy it. Temps seem ok on the mat, so all in all I am pretty happy. Does anyone do anything for extra humidty for their boas? or only when they are in shed?

Thanks, I hope you like their new RUBs. I think they will!!

thanks very much.

was having some issues with the temp of the cool end. so this evening I have set up a smaller heatmat strip along the back end of the tho rubs, which should improve the ambient temp a bit - and the mat at the hot end might not have to work so hard.
