Default Coco background planted tank! Pic heavy-ish

A word of warning... SEWING coco fibre panels gives you blisters!
One of my hobbies is sewing, so typical me had to include it somewhere in my viv creation! I sewed coco fibre baskets into it to plant in, which also gives my froggies little ledges to sit/sleep/hide/poop in! I had to used needles so big and sharp and scary that i needed ID. to buy them
My frogs will most likely destroy the plants within a week but we'll see how it goes!
They seem to like it cuz as soon as i put them in, one did a massive poop and another shed his skin! the seal of approval surely!

The frogs!

Everyone says this, but it looks much better in person without flash and horrible lighting! x
Comments/criticism welcome! as long as your nice

Looks really good! I can imagine how sore that would have made your fingers! It's a pretty nice way of ensuring you don't have any gaps in the coco panel. Nice job
Just a word to the wise though, the Dracaena compacta you have planted at the top of the tank will grow pretty big (easily 160cm tall) with a large root system. I have one planted in my Phelsuma tank in the substrate and the root system is enormous! You can see roots pressing against the glass over 2ft away from the actual plant! The plant started off really small like yours but is now about 20" high, though I've had to cut it back about 4 or 5 times in 3 years. lol... so you may need to replace it soon with something smaller like a miniature bromeliad, or just keep pruning it back by cutting the main 'trunk' part in the middle of the plant.

Edit: Although even pruning it back won't stop the roots getting mahoosive.

The hole in one of my knuckles is not even healed yet!!
Haha! Oh man! Thanks for letting me know what it is! I will be swapping this for something else! It wasn't labled up in the shop and it was only £1! I did suspect it would either grow huge or not be suitable. I have a small bromeliad which has produced "offspring" which might work in there The spider plants look a bit fugly too, but they were free and the frogs can demolish them and i wont care too much!
Overall the tank was really cheap! all in all its cost me about £55-£60 for everything, bargain!
Thanks x
