fake background build for crested gecko

hi i thought id build a fake background for my crested gecko but i wont be able to grout until later on maybe next month as its chrimbo and im skint and to busy but i thought ill show you the base and could you tell me what you think about it so far the dimension is 60cm long and 45 cm high

that background design looks great, it'll be good to see the finished result.


just be careful what you seal the grout with as when you spray the viv with water it might ruin the background or make the pva/varnish (or whatever you decide to seal it with) run in with the water and the cresties might consume it.

Looking good! you could make some elevated food/water dish holders too? I know my crestie doesn't really like eating off the floor, so im really wishing I had some food dish holders on my walls!
