Default Mixing Species Help

:welc ome:

Iv got a 6 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot tank but iv got nothing in it yet, i want to create a jungle scene in it, rocky wall, vines, plants, a waterfall in the back corner with a little flowing stream leading from the waterfall to the other side of the tank, moss, pebbles etc.

iv got the idea of the tank all in my head and ready, now here's my problem, i wanna have a few mixed species in there, frogs lizards and fish, i would of liked to include a small snake but i know that wouldnt work.

Does any1 know what kind of species i could include?

Im not loaded with money so try not to include animals that dont cost like £150 each lol i know its going to cost a few hundred but i wanna do it over time not use all my money 1 week on 1 thing

im thinking greed eyed tree frogs as a start.

Help!!

Thanx . Paul.

You might want to read this before considering mixing any species:http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/lizar...ease-read.html
I wouldn't mix species personally but i'd have a breeding group of animals in there. its not really that tall so wouldn't be much good for any arboreal 'jungle' stuff either.
For a viv that size id probably get a few fire skinks because you don't see them that often or maybe a group of ackies. Doesn't really answer your question but thought you might want some ideas

red eye tree frogs are very fragile, expensive animals that dont take well to stress, illness and incorrect environment, the only species i have seen mixed with red eye succesfully was clown tree frogs which is a species that share there habitat in the wild

I'd recommend not mixing species. You could section it off into leopard gecko vivs? Or section off for something else?
