Default looking for advice on heating

in the middle of building a viv, which will be made of plywood....6 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet. will be filled with fake rock polystyrene, what size of bulb will be needed for my basking spot ?, any help please

er.....it depends what its for!

might be 150w or 2

lots of variables come into the equation

sorry bout that its for a 2 year old bearded dragon............he's currently in a 4 by 2 by 18, want to give him more room.

well they like to run and climb so good for you on the space. wit that size its harder to get a good temp, but its also possible to go a bit higher, i had 120deg in a 6' at the mo 2x100w in a bit smaller one.

m just about to do the same so would love the advice too ppl.
i was told to try keepin a 60w bulb on permantly and then a 100w on a dimmer

what temps are you getting now, with what set up?

i havnt finished my viv yet but when i asked the same ? that was one of the most recomended sugestions

wierd, never heard that in 12 years...i know things change so might have missed it.
