its all in the details, the more time and effort u put in the better the result, one tip i can give is when u cut out the doors and attach ur perspex (from the inside) put some nice moulding round the cuts (on the outside) it makes it look 10 times better, seal all the joints as per usual with silicone and make sure the doors are flush all round if theres any gaps use some adhesive foam tape to make them escape proof or some thin pine and plane to fit, id also suggest as it will be a big unit to fit castors if it doesnt already have some, it makes life 100 times easier when u have to get behind them for whatever reason.
