Haven't got any spare to try but would it settle and stay on the bottom or end up floating?

I want to re-do my crab tank and I think coir might like quite nice both for in and out of the water.

IME its easily disturbed, probably only take the filter flow to mess it up if you use one. I used it last year for some frogs and it got messed up when they swam about, it also took 3-4 days after putting it into the tank for it to settle.
