Triangular corner vivs
Quick question about floor area and viv sizing
My snow corn is going to need a new viv soon as he is out growing his 30", I am considering making a triangular viv to fit into a handy space in my front room.
Looking to have it 36" on the 2 sides, a 6" return on either corner and approx 40" along the long side, going to be 18" deep. This will give a floor area of 5.38 square feet and the longest point of the viv will be a 49". Fitting sliding glass doors in the long side.
Was going to use 15/18mm contiboard and it can all be cut from a single 8' x 4' sheet (2.4m x 1.2m). Im not sure you can get contiboard in that size though, going to visit the local builders merchant to see if they have anything in that size.
Im intending to make another one for a beardy in the future and stack them in the corner.
Has anyone got any experience or advice of such a setup? Cant see any problems myself, but there are far more experienced keepers out there
