Thanks! - I saw the clear silicone sealant in B&Q but was unsure if it was suitable & thought that I had to use aquarium sealant as if was the safest to use when sealing a viv. I'll pop down to my local one tonight then & pick some up.

Cheers!

Tim

i got a 310ml tube of aquarium sealant off eBay for £3.50 plus carriage.

it's one of the ones you use the gun for rather than the piddling little glue tubes.

Have replied in your wanted add, but will also post here.

I am yet to find a sealent at a DIY shop that is 100% free of fungal stuff.

If using in a dry viv, I would guess it 'should' be ok, but i'd get aquarium grade and be on the safe side.

I use this seller. Fantastic service, great prices. Email him 1st and he'll give you a combined p&p deal.

Aquarium Silicone Sealant CLEAR or BLACK in 310ml tube on eBay, also Aquariums Bowls Tanks, Fish, Pet Supplies, Home Garden (end time 12-Mar-09 11:37:34 GMT)
