Default School Project: Vivarium Build

I've been building a vivarium for some time now for one of my GCSE projects at school. It's made entirely out of mahogany with the back being plywood. It's a basic vivarium, with a drawer and a cupboard at one side. The vivarium is approximately 2ft (wide) x 1.5ft (high) x 1ft (deep).

I've come to the point where I need to get the materials for all the little essential bits, ie, vents and runners. I need your help in pointing my in the right direction to find the following:
  • Plastic runners (which are ideally 62cm long, anything longer will do)
  • Vents
I also need a little tutorial on how I will install the vents and bulb. What size will the hole have to be and what should I use to make the said hole?

Thank you for any help!

you can get 70mm vents from b+q and elsewhere. I used a 72mm holecutter attachment and sealed it in place with aquarium sealant.
