Default My Day Gecko Set-up

Just got an exo terra waterfall and fogger to add humidity easier, save on spraying all the time.

Geckos seem happy enough

they look like massive pieces of hollow grass... unless it's a tiny tank

They are 5cm diameter bamboo cane, the others are twisted vines. I got these and most of the other bits from Dartfrog.com

Default day gecko setup

very nice indeed! is the gecko a baby or an adult? if you have a baby or juvenile then i would move the horizontal perch to within about 2 inches of the UV bulb. I do this with all my babies and its amazing how it aids their growth and colours!! apart from that good job!!!

They are adults, just a biggish tank. There is two spots in the exo terra hood also, so it would be to hot if the perch was closer. Toasted geckos, mmmm, tasty.....

Thanks for the info though, when they breed I will take note

Mike

Dude i like the set up but love the DVD collection more Hey what bulb are you using and what size is the Exo.. I am thinking of adding a fogger and medium waterfall to my setup but it’s the small rainforest kit 30 x 30 x 45.. Not sure ummmm.
