hey, if you are talking about the foggers like exo-terra foggers, or maplins foggers they can be tricky to use how you want them. the fog's behavour depends on a lot of things. in my frog tank, depending ont he water temp, the air temp inside the viv, the air temp outside the viv and if my windows are open - the fog sometimes 'pours' out like water, or just fills the whole space with fog. sometimes it lies on the bottom... it's very hit and miss! the fog is extremly delicate also, when if somes into contact with something is condenses and just turns into bigger water droplets. so usualy putting foggers inside ornaments is a problem as the most of the fog will just condense on the ornament it's self. why do you want to put the fogger outside? It would be a lot easier if you had it inside. also are you using it for humidity? or looks? you can get external foggers which blow fog into the vivs with a flexible tube - have you looked into those? like this: YouTube - Dart Frog Vivarium with fogger on I think it's something like the "Lucky Reptile Super Fog Humidifier" |
