n.b I've posted this in the equiptment section aswell as I wasn't sure where would be the best place.
Hi All, Im in the progress of specking out a new viv build for my chinese water dragons and am after some advise/suggestions of the temp/humidity/environmental controls. The viv is going to be be 4ft wide, 2ft deep and 5ft tall (give or take atm). At the moment I thinking of having two UV lights. One Strip at the top of the viv and either another strip or uv spot midway down next to their basking spot. Two Ceramic heaters either side of the viv at the top and a regular incandescant bulb mid way down for their basking spot. A fogger for the bottom pool and im also thinking maybe a misting system. Do you think misting system are a good idea, and if so does anyone have any recomendations for a good one or even any plans on how to build on myself? I want to regulate the enviroment as much as possible so i've been looking at things like this : Humidity Controller and a Thermo Control. Do you think these will be suitable/any good? Do you think they will be good enough to control all of the above? Any other general suggestions/comments would be much appriciated, as i'm learnng about these things in more depth as I go along. Thanks Rex |
